My kids are 3, 4 and 6 years old and they LOVE rock music, the louder the better. I guess it's in their genes. Andy and I like to rock it out ourselves. Lately we have been struggling to find a balance between quality music and quality lyrics. Our 6 year old has an amazing mind for remembering lyrics (and guitar riffs) so I've been noticing lyrical content more lately and it's been a little scary. Thankfully, Switchfoot has just released a new album that contains great music and great lyrics. I fell in love with Switchfoot when I was in college and they did a concert in the chapel. In fact, my husband-to-be drove them to the airport - weird!

Anyway - I strongly recommend this album (and all other Switchfoot albums) if you (or your kids) like rock music and you want to put quality lyrics in the minds of your family.
